"By the time I started working with Rachel, I'd had years of therapy, read hundreds of books, listened to podcasts, done yoga, meditated, tried various treatments - but I still couldn't get out of the cycle of depression and suicidal ideation I'd been stuck in since my teenage years. But from the first few sessions with Rachel, things began to shift. Now - and it still feels like a miracle - I've gone from someone who lived in fear of my own emotions and their power over me to someone who feels resilient, capable of facing anything, and has finally found peace. Rachel has taught me how to trust myself, how to feel sadness without getting depressed (who knew that was a thing?!), and how to bring myself back before I go over the egde. She is so warm, understanding and empathetic in her approach (and her ability to listen and remember details is astounding!). Somehow, her way of working with me broke down barriers that nothing else had. I'm sad to say goodbye and lose this warm, safe presence from my life - but I feel so lucky to have found her. Mostly, I'm so excited for anybody that gets to work with her!"  Leah

"My life didn’t make sense anymore: everything seemed to be looking up, both professionally and personally, but I still felt suicidal. I opened up to a friend who told me Rachel had completely transformed their life. Just 2 months after starting therapy, I noticed a shift in my mood and a more positive outlook on life. After a year, I feel so much calmer and resilient. I can now deal with events which would have sent me spinning out of control. Given my past, I never thought this would be possible. When people ask me how Rachel did it, I cannot put it into words. Yet, she knew exactly what to do and she got me there. I am very grateful to her and I wish I had met her years earlier."  Helen

Right from the start, Rachel was incredibly professional, and yet demonstrated warmth, trust and commitment in supporting me.  I quickly realised that this was going to be an emotional journey but one that was necessary and hugely beneficial.  With Rachel’s knowledge, experience and ability to gauge my position, patterns and behaviour, she was able to unlock areas of my thought process and beliefs that I hadn’t been able to do for myself.  It enabled me to think differently and move forward with more clarity, strength and the tools to create a better life. My sessions with Rachel were enormously helpful at a time when I felt vulnerable and confused.  I would recommend Rachel in a heartbeat; it was certainly a valuable investment.”  Katherine

"Rachel was recommended to me by a friend as I was coming out of an episode of anxiety and depressive illness. Rachel’s professional expertise with cognitive analytical therapy has enabled me to return to work and my usual positive, fun-loving self, managing a large team of volunteers, a job I truly love. Rachel is a true professional with a warm, welcoming style. I immediately built up rapport with her having been rather apprehensive to commence therapy despite knowing I needed to do so to recover and move forwards. Rachel has helped me enormously in my journey of recovery to positive mental health and I am so grateful to her as I have managed to unravel the ‘hidden’ reasons and triggers leading to my episodes of depression and anxiety. She has taught me how to deal with my inner critic and learn from my past challenging experiences which has resulted in my return to full health. Rachel's expertise together with my family's, and close friends', support has meant I am thoroughly enjoying a full life with a great work/life balance."  Gemma

“From the outset, Rachel was incredibly welcoming and professional to work with. A space was created that felt safe for me to be open and honest, enabling me to express myself in ways I have never been able to before. Through our work together, I was given the tools and structure to identify unhelpful, historic patterns of behaviour in order to begin to challenge these. Through this, I have started to make sense of what previously felt chaotic and, oftentimes, unmanageable. The scope of our work together has extended far beyond improving my own wellbeing but it has also made me a better friend, colleague and partner.”  Amelia
